Tutorcruncher has been quite handy in several aspects, especially when it comes to managing invoices and the financial side of things. I also appreciate having all the tutor and student details in one spot. Plus, the team has been really helpful and has replied to my emails promptly.

That said, there are a number of things I’m not too keen on regarding Tutorcruncher.
1. You can’t really reach the support team by phone when issues arise - they mainly operate through online chat and email. You can schedule a video call ahead of time, but it feels a bit too formal, and it’s just not the same as being able to call a support line. There is a phone number available, but every time I tried, it was just an automated message telling me to submit a support ticket.
2. Scheduling lessons isn’t very user-friendly - it’s not like Calendly where you can see someone’s availability and pick a time that works for both, which would be super helpful.
3. Tutors and students can’t chat with each other on the platform! I was taken aback when I discovered this, because what’s the point of linking tutors and students if you a) don’t offer proper scheduling options for lessons and b) don’t allow them to communicate through the platform? Instead, you have to share contact info, and they end up setting up lessons outside of Tutorcruncher.
4. My client, who is both a student and a paying customer, was puzzled by the setup (and rightly so) where she had two different profiles - one for acting as a 'student' to access her lessons, and another for being a 'client' to manage her payment details. It would be way simpler if there was a single profile option for this type of client to handle everything they need on one page.
5. Personally, I found the entire platform to be quite confusing and complicated. You have to sift through a bunch of their 'help' articles to figure out each process (payment methods, video call settings, 'jobs', accounting features), and even then, some things remain unclear, so you end up needing to reach out to the support team anyway.

Overall, I just started my tutoring business not long ago, and I chose Tutorcruncher right from the start to lighten my load. Maybe if I had tried to manage without tutor management software, I would have a better appreciation for Tutorcruncher's systems and support, but honestly, I think there’s a lot that could be improved.

It's a breeze to use and really straightforward. The customer support is super responsive and quite helpful.

As a tutor using Tutor Cruncher, I gotta say, it's pretty straightforward and clear to use. One thing I think could be better is the lesson scheduling. If there was a quick button for a 1-hour lesson, that would be awesome, 'cause choosing the start and end times takes up a lot of time.
